With Eminem releasing his 8th solo album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, earlier this month, we flash back to the Detroit MC’s solo debut Infinite. Released back in 1996, the album shows off the the beginnings of Eminem’s lyrical ability and flows over some dope Mr. Porter production. Hit the jump to listen to a couple joints off the album.
After getting to hear the joint collaboration between Abel, Diplo and Sia, we now get the solo offering by The Weeknd for the soundtrack to the upcoming Hunger Games movie. Listen to the Rick Rubin-produced Devil May Cry below.
In the run up to the November release date of Eminem’s 8th solo album and Marshall Mathers LP sequel, the Detroit MC drops Rap God. Despite the average, synthesized instrumental, the song sees Em straight rapping and is easily one of the better songs he’s released over the last few years. MMLP2 drops November 5th.
