The year has almost come to an end so it’s time to look back at the top album releases. 2013 has been a good year for hip-hop fans, with all the heavyweights dropping studio albums including Jay-Z, Eminem, Kanye, Drake and more. Out of absolutely nowhere, Beyoncé has unveiled a brand new self-titled album. Not only that, it includes features from the likes of Jay-Z, Drake and Frank Ocean, plus every track on the ‘visual’ album has it’s own music video. Following in the footsteps of her partner Jay-Z and bending the rules of promotion and advertising, Queen B has released this album with no promo whatsoever.
