James Blake and Chance the Rapper give their Life Round Here remix the visual treatment after last week’s teaser. The unusual video sees Blake and Chance cruising around the British countryside filled with nuns, priests and even Somalian pirates. Peep the video below.
Another one fresh out of Chicago, here we have Vic Mensa with his latest release INNANETAPE. A former member of the band Kids These Days, this is Mensa’s first project since they disbanded back in May and it’s a solid effort, following in the footsteps of fellow Windy City native and Cocoa Butter Kisses collaborator Chance The Rapper (who makes an guest appearance). Production comes from the likes of J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Hit-Boy, Boi-1da and more, while Ab-Soul, BJ The Chicago KiD, Thundercat & Jesse Boykins III all feature. This track has been in circulation for about a week now and features an unlikely combination as London singer-songwriter James Blake hooks up with Chance The Rapper for the remix to Life Round Here from his recent album Overgrown. The pair have announced that more collaborations are on the way, including original material. Catch Blake performing live in London this Wednesday and Thursday at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
